You would be been skeptical hearing that right?, Is Naruto Uzumaki the current 7th Hokage of Konoha village is still a Genin?

 The question arise from the Boruto series where in one episode Naruto states that he's still a Genin while talking to Kawaki.

 Guess what? it is not true.

 The first thing is that Naruto is freaking Hokage indirectly to say his the boss of Konoha.
Second is you cannot be a Hokage if you are not atleast a Jounin.

 Now lets trace back to The 4th Great Ninja War which was concluded with the help of Naruto and Sasuke. After all war thing was over Naruto was realized as one of the strongest Ninja even surpassing the Kage's which is not a small accomplishment.

 After the war Kakashi promoted Naruto to Jounin rank but only on one condition that he had to study and learn all the literature about the ninja world, which he did study with the help of Shikamaru and Iruka, I'm not sure if he did completed his study or not but as far as his dream was conserned tobe Hokage which cannot be completed without it, he definitly would have completed the study.

 And as Kakashi mention earlier, Naruto would have been promoted to Jounin Rank, That's my deduction.

 Naruto was a looser at theoretical things as shown at many occasions, like it chunin exam.
But later in Boruto series it was shown as if he was i nerd with his personal office at his house with lots of books, which would be the result of his study.

 And the most important thing is that whether or not his a Jounin Rank but his still capable of much more of that of Hokage,if his not even capable of that then he wouldn't be a Jounin Rank Ninja.

 My word is that he Definitely would be be Jounin Rank.
